Rev. Patrick Dolan speaks to Old Testament class at LWC Casey Co., KY priest, who serves parishes in Clementsville and Liberty, as well as a three county Hispanic community give talk about his service as a chaplain in the Kentucky National Guard in combat zones. Bill Davenport's "Old Testament" and "New Testament" classes heard a report Monday from the front lines of the military chaplaincy. The Rev. Patrick J. Dolan spoke to the students about his experiences serving in the Kentucky National Guard, including a recent tour of duty in Iraq. Dolan - who is a Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville - is also a colonel in the Kentucky National Guard. His four combat tours include Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, where he provided sacraments, served as a mentor to younger chaplains, and provided instruction to both medical units and senior officers. Dolan resides in St. Bernard Parish in nearby, Clementsville, Casey County, KY., where he serves that parish as well as Sacred Heart Parish in Liberty, KY, as well as the Hispanic community in three counties.
