Obituary: Barbara Harmon, 64, Liberty, KY

Mrs. Harmon was member of a respected Casey Co., KY family. She was a native of Arkansas and a former secretary

Barbara Harmon, 64, Liberty, KY, died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be at 7:30pmET/6:30pmCT, Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty KY, with Bro. Shirley Denson the officiating clergy. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation wil be after 6pmET/5pmCT, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers will be Clint and William Noe, John Russell, R.J. LaSoya, Ron Berry, and Mike Brown.

Barbara Harmon, Casey Co., KY (1945-2010)

Barbara Harmon was the daughter of the late Doyle Wally and Evelyn Tackett Wally. She was born Wednesday, April 4, 1945 in Higden, Clebourne Co., AR, and died Sunday, March 7, 2010, in Lexington, Fayette Co., KY at the age of 64 years, 11 months, and 3 days.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Harmon, and the following:
  • Two sons: Elmer Harmon of Hustonville, KY; and Michael Harmon of Liberty, KY

  • One daughter: Barbara Wheeler, Liberty, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren

  • And three siblings.
Mrs. Harmon was a former secretary.

Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
