Elva Hare was a member of a respected Russell Co., KY family and was a farmer

Elva Hare, 91, Creelsboro RD, Russell Springs, KY, died Monday, March 1, 2010 at the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

The funeral service will be Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Billy Dunbar the officiating clergy. Burial will be in Russell Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 5pmCT, Wedneday, March 3, 2010.

Elva Hare, Russell Co., KY (1918-2010)

Elva Hare was the son of the late Mary Grant Hare and Frank Hare. He was born in Russell Co., KY, on Thursday, October 10, 1918 and died in Lexington, Fayette Co, KY, on Monday, March 1, 2010, at the age of 91 years, 4 months, and 19 days.

He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lura Harmon Hare.

He is survived by the following:
  • Four children: Jimmy and his wife Jacqueline Hare; Willie Frank and his wife Carolyn Hare; and Connie and her husband Bobby Kimbler, all of Russell Springs, KY; and Richard and his wife Huan Hare, Radcliffe, KY

  • And six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
Bernard Funeral Home, Russell Springs, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
