Columbia Police searching for escapee from Adair Co. Regional Jail From the Columbia Police Department Columbia Police are investigating the escape of an Adair County Regional Jail inmate on February 26 2010, at approximately 5:15pmCT. The inmate Greg Cooper, 36, Columbia, KY, was taking out the jail garbage when he fled on foot. Cooper is incarcerated for forgery, a non violent crime. Cooper is about 5 feet 11 inches tall. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 230 pounds. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Greg Cooper, please contact the Columbia Police Department, any local law enforcement agency or 911. -Sgt.
