Obituary: Hubert Davis, Green Co., KY

Hubert Davis, 81, of the Summersville, KY, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 125 Macedonia Church Road, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Green Co, KY. Friends of Hubert Davis may call at the Macedonia Baptist Church from 4pm to 8pmCT, Friday, February 26, 2010, and after 7amCT, Saturday, February 27, 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Davis, and the following:
  • One son, Kerry Davis (Lanetta)

  • Two step children: Louise Price (Bill), and Jimmy Lewis (Debbie)

  • Three sisters: Geneva Higgason, Celsie Stewart, and Rachel Smith

  • Two grandchildren: Kyle Davis and Lindsey Fields (Steven)

  • Three great grandchildren: Bradley and Keaton Davis and Ethan Fields, all of Greensburg, KY
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Macedonia Cemetery. This may be done at the church or funeral home.

Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 West Court ST, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
