Want events posted quickly in CM? It is easy! Thanks so much to everyone for sending events listings. The number of events continues to increase; we appreciate the care those submitting the information are taking to help make this service possible. Do you want your event posted quickly in ColumbiaMagazine.com? Here's a tip: Send the news in the CM format for abbreviations, sequence, and content. Remember to answer the 5Ws and an H Events which include exact locations, with Street, Street Number, City, and State in the submission receive the highest priority. We do make attempts to research this information, but the research is done after events which are properly formatted are posted. The publicity given to most posts which meet these standards includes 1) A front page news story, 2) A listing on the Events calendar, often with a link to the original story, 3) A posting in an appropriate category of CM classifieds, 4) A brief appearance in the Featured Classified Box on the Front Page of ColumbiaMagazine.com, and, 5) On the day of the Event, an Event in Brief on the Front Page, linked to the full announcement and/or the event in full. This service is made possible through the support of community minded businesses and institutions. If you would like to have your business or institution participate by becoming a sponsor of any of the features on ColumbiaMagazine.com, please contact us. There are now more ways than ever to do so. A Special Thanks to Those People who make continued updates on the Veterans Page possible. This story was posted on 2010-02-23 01:13:39
