CU Theater will perform Smoke on the Mountain Cast members include Erin Johnson, Russellville, KY; Farrin Marlow and Lyda Adcock of Campbellsville, KY; Aubrey Skutt and Matt Hodge of Louisville, KY; Kaylynn Best, Kelsey Best and Phillip Carlisle of Harrodsburg, KY; Megan Massey, Science Hill, KY; Melody Hall, Rockfield, KY; Edwina Rowell, Guston, KY; Reyn Judd, Greensburg, KY; Rob Collins, Columbia, KY; and Kiel Thorlton, Auburn, KY By Skye Gardner, Campbellsville University Campbellsville University's theater department will take a trip back in time to the year 1938 when it performs "Smoke on the Mountain," in the University Theater, 114 University Drive in Campbellsville, KY, March 27, 2010 at 7pmET/6pmCT; March 28, 2010 at 3pmET/2pmCT; and March 29, 2010 at 7pmET/6pmCT Travel to Mount Pleasant, NC, and join the Sanders Family and Reverend Oglethorpe for an "upliftin' good time." "We have a great cast and crew who are working really hard to make this musical production a success," said Erica Moon, assistant to the director of theater."This show has good gospel music which people are sure to recognize and enjoy. It's a funny and entertaining show for all ages," Moon said.Moon will be production manager, Dr. Frieda Gebert, associate professor of music at CU, will be directing the show, and Starr Garrett, instructor in theater and director of the theater program at CU, will be the artistic director. General admission tickets will be sold for $5, CU employee tickets will be $1, and CU student tickets are free. Chapel credit will be available for attending students.
