Dorothy Ethridge Morris was the matriarch of a large family. She leaves 40 direct living descendants. She was a homemaker

Dorothy Morris, 78, Liberty, KY, died Friday, February 19, 2010, at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Monday, February 22, 2010, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Phillip Patton officiating. Visitation will be after 11amET/10amCT, Monday, February 22, 2010, at Bartle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wolfe Cemetery, Saucier, Harrison Co., MS.



Dorothy Morris, Casey Co., KY (1931-2010)

Dorothy Morris was the daughter of the late Jesse Robert Ethridge and Nancy Elizabeth Fleming Ethridge. She was born on Tuesday, December 1, 1931, in Stockton, Baldwin Co., AL, and died on Friday, February 19, 2010, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 78 years, 2 months, and 18 days.

Mrs. Morris was a homemaker.

She was the widow of William Albert Morris.She is survived by the following:
  • Three Sons: William Robert Morris, Gautier, MS; Michael and his wife Helen Morris, Ocean Springs, MS; and Keeth and his wife Leesan Morris of Crestview, FL

  • Two daughters: Nancy and her husbsand Steve Randolph of Middleburg, KY; and Ruth Williams of Plant City, FL

  • Twenty-four grandchildren

  • Eleven great grandchildren

  • One brother: Robert Ernest Ethridge, Robertsdale, AL

  • One daughter in law: Mary Morris, Charleston, SC
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Morris

Bartle Funeral Home, Liberty, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
