Dating the Ann Curtis aerial photo: The Adair Hotel was still standing About: Memorable Old Columbia, KY: Can you date this aerial photo To Ann Curtis, via CM: Neat! I assume that's the old hotel in the corner of the square.Town Branch now covered (mostly) by Burton Ace, etc. s/Doug McCammish Thanks. I think you're right, We've getting emails and phone calls on this one. It seems almost every tiny element in the picture is inspiring comments. Pointing out the hotel brings back so many proud, poignant, and even painful memories and does help narrow the time, which I could tell, initially, was between the invention of the airplaine and before the Adair Justice Center. I'm sure that many, many people will appreciate your pointing out this landmark, which stood where the Adair Annex is today. -EW This story was posted on 2010-02-19 11:39:18
