A Challenge: Make this GBBC day count for Sue Stivers

By Doug McCammish
Adair Countians! Adair County is doing really well nationally in the "Great Backyard Bird Count." Today is the last day!

It may seem odd to you, but this kind of recognition can result in additional visitors to our area, which means business and jobs, not to mention the fun you can get from watching and counting the birds.

Please make this last day "count" in honor of Sue Stivers and for Adair County.

Please take time to count, then find the website in Columbia Magazine to submit your 15 minute observation checklist(s).Although not a seasoned "birder," it seems like on a snow day like today, you could scatter some seeds across the top of the snow and get LOTs of birds to count? Thanks,- Doug McCammish
