Two injured in Loretto, KY, 2-vehicle collision Driver of Dodge Ram pick-up arrested; faces two charges By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY MARION CO, KY - Trooper Nathan Rhodes of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, is investigating a two vehicle collision that occurred Saturday, February 06, 2010 at 1pmET, 10 miles North of Lebanon on Hwy 527. Thomas Leake, age 32, of Raywick, operating a 1988 Dodge Ram truck, was traveling South on Hwy 527 when, he failed to stop and struck a vehicle in the rear. That vehicle, a 2002 Chevy Cavalier, operated by Brian Blanford age 21 of Loretto, was attempting to turn left into a residence. Blanford and a passenger, Amber Blanford age 14, were transported to Springview Hospital by EMS where they were treated and released. All parties involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision. Leake was arrested at the scene and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended operator's license and an outstanding warrant from Marion County.
