Passenger injured when cruiser backs into post in Clinton Co, KY By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Albany, KY - A minor injury collision occurred in the Limits of Albany, KY at the intersection of Spring ST and Jefferson ST at 3:49pmCT, Thursday, January 28, 2010. A 2008 Crown Vic Police Cruiser operated by Deputy Kent McDaniel, of Albany, age 50, who was belted, was backing into a driveway and struck a post beside the driveway. A passenger, Jeffery Lee Clark, of Albany, age 21, not belted, was transported to Clinton County Hospital, Albany, KY, where he was treated and released. Deputy McDaniel was not injured. Trooper David Long of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, is investigating.
