Adair, Marion drivers treated, released after US 68 collision By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY LEBANON, KY - A collision occurred at 4:05pmET/3:05CT, Wednesday, January 27, 2010, three miles West of Lebanon on US-68. Chelsey Wheatley of Lebanon KY, age 19, was operating a 2006 Mercury East bound on US-68. Tyler Royse of Columbia KY, age 25, was operating a 2004 Jeep Cherokee West bound on US-68. Wheatley lost control, ran off the roadway, over corrected, and came back onto the roadway, striking the Royse vehicle in the side. Both Wheatley and Royse were wearing their seat belts and treated and released at Springview Hospital in Lebanon. Stephen Burris of Columbia KY, age 15, was a passenger in the Royse vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt and not injured. TPR Fred Cornett investigated the collision.
