Obituary: Sharon Reece Jones, 53, Metcalfe Co., KY

She was a member of a respected family. She was a homemaker and a member of the Green Meadows Baptist Church.

Sharon Reece Jones, age 53, of the Mell Ridge Community of Metcalfe County died Monday, January 18, 2010 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 11amCT, Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pmCT,Wednesday, January 20, 2010, and after 9amCT, Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Orville and Alma Bowles Reece.

Sharon was a member of the Green Meadows Baptist Church and a homemaker.She is survived by her husband Ronnie Jones and the following:
  • One daughter: Angie (Todd) Smith of Knob Lick, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Allyson and Ashley Smith

  • Two brothers: Raymond and Darrell (Cathy) Reece, all of Knob Lick, KY

  • Her mother in law Geraldine Jones, Edmonton, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Laron Jones.

Butler Funeral Home, Edmonton, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
