Site lets donor check record of charity About: Doug McCammish warns to check sites before making donations Just a note to add to Doug's warning. A good, well-respected site to check all charieties is www.charitynavigator.com. They currently have a list of responsible charities who are active in Haiti. They rate charities one to four stars, four being the top few. You can also check all of the data on each charity including what percent of the money you send actually goes to the program and what percent goes to administration and fundraising.
