She was a native of Taylor Co., KY, and was a member of First United Methodist Church; She was retired from Ingersoll-Rand in Campbellsville, KY

Mary Margaret Parrott Rogers, 84 of Hodgenville, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, died at 5:40amET, Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Hodgenville, KY.

Funeral services are at 2pmET/1pmCT, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Ted Beam. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, West Main ST, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be from 11am-2pmET/10am-1pmCT, Saturday, January 16, at the funeral home.



Mary Margaret Parrott Rogers, 84, Larue Co., KY (1925-2010)

Mary Margaret Parrott Rogers of Hodgenville, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Harvey Parrott and Claude Ford Parrott, was born Friday, May 15, 1925 in Taylor Co., KY. She died at 5:40amET, Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Hodgenville, KY, at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 30 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was a retired employee of Ingersoll-Rand Company.

She united in marriage to Charles William Rogers, July 30, 1948. He preceded her in death January 15, 1985.

She is survived by the following:
  • one daughter: Mary Kaye Sanders and husband Ron of Hodgenville, KY

  • Two granddaughters: Allison Lindsay Shaw of Lexington, KY; and Meredith Lynn Shaw of Louisville, KY

  • A sister-in-law, Jeanette Parrott of Campbellsville, KY

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister, Alvin Parrott and Wanda Parrott.
