Remembering an Adair Co. Hero: William Coy Turner "In memory of William Coy Turner's Birthday, February 14; He gave his life in Vietnam for our Freedom" - Margaret Feese See also, Wm. Coy Turner will always be hero to 'us Turners' To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Everyone's birthday should be recognized, and especially those who have served this nation in the armed forces, and given their life for the freedom we enjoy today and everyday. He has (William Coy Turner) been on my mind a lot these days. We've recently found some of his friends from Vietnam, and are looking forward to meeting them. Being informed of the stories they know about him has given me much enjoyment, just knowing he was as great a person in Vietnam as he was around home. s/Margaret FeeseThanks. The In Memory Birthday is posted. William Coy Turner is a revered Adair County Hero. -EW This story was posted on 2010-01-14 19:27:41
