Obituary: Ralph McCandless, 89, Knob Lick, KY Mr. McCandless was a member of a large, respected North Metcalfe, KY, family. He leaves 46 living descendants. He was a retired farmer, a member of Antioch Baptist Church at Knob Lick, KY, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II Ralph McCandless, age 89, of Knob Lick, KY, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Friday, January 15, 2010, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Boston Cemetery at Sulphur Well, KY. Visitation will be 4-8pmCT, Thursday, January 14, and after 9am Friday, January 15, 2010, at the funeral home. He was the son of the late Brown and Arvil Boston McCandless. Ralph was a retired farmer, World War II Army veteran and member of the Antioch Baptist Church at Knob Lick. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Irwin McCandless, and the following:
