Memories of a wonderful friendship

About: Remembering Shirley Glasgow: Gratitude for a dear friend

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I feel so sad on learning about the passing of Mr.Shirley Glasgow.

He was such an awesome man and such a wonderful friend to Mr. James Woody.

I was honored to be able to have taken care of Mr. Woody and getting the chance to know Mr.Glasgow.

Mr.Woody would say that Shirley is such a wonderful friend. He was so faithful to Mr.Woody, as well as Mr.Woody being so faithful to him. They both were wonderful men who touched my life so very much, as they touched the lives of so many people in Adair Co. They will never be forgotten. I am so glad that God gave me a chance to know both of these men.

They have touched my life in a way that words can't explain. I will keep my memories of Mr. Woody and Mr. Glasgow so dear to my heart. I am sure they are both in Heaven looking down on me as they are riding around talking like they use to do. Once a week Shirley would come get Mr. Woody and drive him around.

Mr. Woody always looked forward when that day would come. They are the true meaning of what a true friendship should be .Both of these men will be greatly missed.

s/Angela Bault
