Remembers the Glasgows, wonderful Graded Hill neighbors

About: Remembering Shirley Glasgow: Gratitude for a dear friend

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

I too was a neighbor of the Glasgows. Also the Downses, Woodys, Howells, Akins and other neighbors.

My growing up years included my wonderful neighbors and their children.

I can't think of one negative thing to say about any of these people.

One of my memories is when the Shirleys moved into the neighborhood. It was an exciting thing to a young child.

Times have surely changed but I will never forget all those wonderful people. In my whole life,i have never heard a single negative thing about Mr. or Mrs. Glasgow.

I know the family will surely miss him. There aren't many of my "old" neighbors left, but they will never be forgotten. My thoughts are with the Glasgow family during this time.s/Linda Wilson Grigsby
