Information from Tour South and Eastern Kentucky

Kentucky Zipline Adventures is currently building Kentucky's first zipline canopy tour attraction in Clay City, KY Construction of the new attraction is already underway.

The new venture is expected to create 15-18 new seasonal jobs, including office staff, guides and managers.

The canopy tour will feature a series of ziplines which will take visitors around two hours to complete. The zipline tour is expected to open later this year. It will be open seasonally during the spring, summer and fall.

The zipline course is still being plotted, but company officials say it will be a series of lines and bridges. Officials also say it will be one of the largest tours in the country with ziplines ranging from approximately 750' to more than 2500' in length.
