Letter of Appreciation from the family of Shirley Glasgow A Letter of Appreciation to Glenn Shirley Glasgow's Many Health Care Givers Over the last several years, and particularly the last three years. My father, Glenn Shirley Glasgow, has benefited from the services of many health care givers in Adair, Barren, Green, and Taylor Counties. Receiving multiple treatments at the J. Graham Brown Cancer Center (Taylor County), and T. J. Sampson Hospital, and through numerous admissions to West Lake Regional Hospital and Jane Todd Memorial Skilled Care Facility, he has been under the care of numerous physicians, particularly A.G.Herrera, Jr., MD, Robert Kell, MD, John L. Korba, MD, and Barrett Lessenberry, MD. By each physician and in each facility each health care giver (Admission Office Staff, Laboratory Technicians, X-ray Technicians, Phlebotomists, Dietitians, Cleaning Staff, Nurses Aides, Nurses, Physical Therapists,and Respiratory Therapists, to name only a few) provided competent, compassionate care. From my perspective serving on the staff of two medical schools (Washington University St. Louis and Loyola University Chicago), and from the perspective of my sister Susan, serving as a regional vice president of a major rehabilitation care company (Rehab Care), we can categorically state that the local health care services function competently and compassionately. His pharmacy (Nation's Medicines), medical equipment (MLS Medical) provider, and rest home (A & L Rest Home) did a wonderful job assisting the family with his many medical needs during the last weeks of his life. It is not possible to name all of Dad's many care givers, but if you provided his medical services you will surely remember him and the services you personally provided. Collectively, your joint efforts extended his life by many months. We, his family, want to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the many services you each provided so well.
