Remembering Jay Wheeler: He was a great uncle About: Obituary: Jay Wheeler, 80, Adair Co., KY To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Jay Wheeler was my great-uncle. Carlis Wilson was my father. Jay's sister Blanche, who was my grandma, was a Rowe, but later married a Snead and that was her name when she died. For those who do genealogy it might be nice if the obituary had the information on-line. My dad was big into genealogy and I am sure would have suggested I send this. He truly loved your magazine and sometimes I pull up his articles to reminisce. Thanks so much. s/Debbie Wilson Bertram Thanks. We'll post your letter, along with a link to make it easy to see the relationships. Also, for those would would like to read some of the delightful Carlis B. Wilson stories, click on Local history by Carlis B. Wilson. This story was posted on 2010-01-02 10:56:08
