Oris Elmer "Moon" Rooks, 80, died Friday, December 25, 2009, at his residence in Edinburgh, IN. Mr. Rooks was a native of Adair County, KY. The Rev. Guy Hardin will conduct a funeral service at 1pmET, Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church, 1010 S. Main St., Edinburgh. Calling will be from 4 to 8pmET, today, Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, KY. Survivors include his wife, Geneva (Bryant) Rooks and the following:
