COLUMBIA, KY - Troopers from Post 15 treated 21 children to Christmas on December 23rd for the annual Shop with a Trooper event.

Children from all of the 11 counties in the Post area participated. The kids ate dinner with Troopers, families and other helpers at 2 different locations, Pizza Hut in Columbia and Mr. Gatti's Pizza in Campbellsville.

From there, they went to the local Wal-Mart Super Centers to shop for needs and wants. Twelve Troopers and their family members, along with recent Citizen's Police Academy graduates, retired Troopers and others, totaling 34 helpers, assisted with the event.
