Adair Fiscal Court meets today to complete Rescue Squad land purchase Saga of Adair County Rescue Squad is coming to close; 13 acre campus, old squad building, is being transferred to Fiscal Court. Long court fight draws to a close AGENDA The Adair County Fiscal Court will convene at 8:30amCT, this morning, Monday, December 28, 2009, in a meeting of historic significance, to authorize County Judge Executive Ann Melton to sign the check for the purchase of the Adair County Rescue Squad property off Campbellsville RD, in Columbia, KY. The old Squad building on 1.5 acres will be used by the new Adair County Search and Rescue Team. The balance of the 13 acres will be owned by Adair Fiscal Court. The CJE notes that, in effect, all the Rescue Squad land transferred is owned by the people of Adair County, since the Adair SAR is a part of Adair County Fiscal Court.
