Why are seen frost flowers only seen in certain places? About: Frost Flower with a kite tail Frost flower photo by Billy Joe Fudge To ColumbiaMagazine.com: I have only seen the frost flowers once before and I didn't have a clue as to what they were. I saw then in a field in North Russell County next to the lake. I stopped and got out to look but couldn't figure out why they were only in a certain spot and not all over the fields. They were only in a spot about 100 ft. square and there was no more anywhere around, because I kept looking and didn't see them anywhere else. Now, can anyone explain why they only appear in certain spots and places? Thanks. sLarry Joe Murray This story was posted on 2009-12-20 07:32:23
