Obituary: Edward Leroy Munday, 75 Adair Co., KY native

He was a member of a respected Adair Co., KY family. He attended Breeding High School and was retired from Roadway Trucking. He was a US Army veteran.

Edward Leroy Munday age 75 years, of Crown Point, IN formerly of Adair Co., KY, p assed away Thursday, December 10, 2009.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 14, 2009 at 10:00amCT at Lake Hills Baptist Church, 9209 West 85th AV, Schererville, IN, with Pastor Phil Humber the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville, IN. Visitation is Sunday, December 13, 2009, from 2- 6pm. at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker AV,St. John, IN



Edward Leroy Munday, Adair Co. native (1934-2009)

He was born July 7, 1934, the son of the late Willie and Dee Moss Munday of Adair Co., KY and died Thursday, December 10, 2009, at the age of 75 years, five months, and 3 days.

He attended the Breeding School in a Adair Co., KY, and retired from Roadway Trucking in 1999 and was a Veteran of the U. S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Munday of Crown Point, IN, and the following:
  • Two sons: Gene Munday and wife Jan of Warrenville, IL & Brian Munday and wife Sandy of Crown Point, IN

  • Two brothers: Cosby Munday and wife Lannie of Columbia, KY; and Donald Munday and wife Jean of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four sisters: Opal Janes of Louisville, KY; Wynell Coomer and husband Ralph of Campbellsville, KY, Zylpha Fudge of Chicago, IL and Clare Coomer of Evansville, IN

  • Grandchildren: Crystal (Matt) Stennett, Samantha and Rebekah Munday, Colten and Curtis Munday

  • Greatgrandchild: Jace Stennett
