Doug's List: Add EMTs, first responders

Doug's List

"They are awesome -KC
About: Ordinary people who give of themselvesbr and make Adair County a better place

By Kelly Crawhorn

I think Doug may have alluded to this, but can we add the emergency personnel and first responders?Last week, my young nephew wrecked flipping his car several times and landing top down in the construction area of 61 South.

The sheriff's department personnel and EMTs at the scene were so gracious and had such good attitudes. This was a scared young man and these people were very understanding, courteous, and dowright personable in making sure he was okay.

I am sure there are places where accidents happen frequently and the people involved are just another number. But to our guys and gals in Adair County, each person is a real human being with feelings and emotions that the emergency personnel respect.

They are awesome! -Kelly Crawhorn
