By Kathy Keith

I would like to recognize an act of Heroism which occurred on Yellow Hammer RD, in the Fairplay community of Adair County, KY, on Thursday, December 10, 2009 when Hindman Munday's truck landed n a pond on Yellow Hammer Road belonging to Alvin Spoon.

David Abrell was the first to arrive on the scene and then 911 was called. But I wanted to recognize these heroes for stripping down and going in the water to rescue this elderly man. The heroes are Kevin Spoon, Clayton Hadley (Junebug) and John Robinson.

These guys were very brave to fight the cold frigid water and weather to rescue this man. These guys were Angels who appeared on the scene.I want to personally thank all these guys for this effort they made.
