Common Sense? Why put off gas merger? To ColumbiaMagazine.com: I don't know all the particulars concerning the transfer of Columbia's water and sewer services to the Adair County Water District but why are we going to go through this process more than once? If the ACWD is that much better at developing, managing, and maintaining public utilities than the City of Columbia why wait for the natural gas infrastructure to deteriorate to the same high state of disrepair as the water and sewer? Let's get this all done at the same time. I would think it would cost less to do it all at once. s/Billy Joe Fudge This story was posted on 2009-12-09 14:10:18
