Nine graduate from smoking cessation class Click on headline for full story plus photo By Jelaine Harlow Nine Adair County residents graduated from Cooper Clayton Smoking Cessation Class last night, Monday, December 7, 2009, at the Adair County 911 Center, 107 N. High ST, Columbia, KY. The new graduates are Fredia Melton, Jennifer Moss, Violet Graves, Sheila Morgan, Stanley Coomer, Patricia Hammond, Michele Coomer, Michele Coomer and Gaynell Dunbar. Jean Corbin, a recent Cooper Clayton graduate herself, was the class facilitator.The next class will begin February 2, 2010. You may register beginning January 1, by calling (270) 384-2286 ext 221. A big thanks to the Adair County 911 center for the use of their conference room, to Jean Corbin for being a facilitator, and to Ed W. for his continual support and coverage of important events in our community.
