Domestic violence call leads to marijuana arrest in Marion Co., KY Caller had complained to Marion dispatch that man had put gun to her head By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - On Saturday, December 7, 2009 at 7:01ET, KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY, received a complaint from Marion County dispatch in reference to a domestic violence call at 75 Cloyd Brady Lane in Marion Co., KY. The caller, 32-year-old Jennifer Nichols, advised that 40-year-old Nevel Thompson had put a gun to her head. Troopers Donnie Moses and John Adams responded to the residence with the Lebanon City Police and Marion County Sheriff's office. Further investigation revealed that the incident had not occurred as originally reported which led to the caller, Jennifer Nichols, being charged with Falsely Reporting and Incident. More information led to the arrest of Nevelle Thompson on charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking in Marijuana, Public Intoxication and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
