Doug's List grows: LWC vocal groups, concert band added

About: Doug's List: Reasons for Adair Co. Success

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I would be remiss if I didn't add the Lindsey Wilson vocal groups, led by Dr Chafin, and the new Band.

s/Charles MillerDoug's List of Reasons for Adair County's Success.

Doug McCammish's starter list:
  • The ACHS Band. Wow! You can't ask for pride and success better than national TV on Thanksgiving.

  • The PRIDE effort and cleaning and keeping clean our city and county. Mr. Sinclair and the support he gets from Judge Melton and Mayor Bell and others is an exceptional asset. Visitors this past weekend commented on how clean the area is - and that's worth money.

  • Lindsey Wilson College athletic success (and national recognition), new buildings, new programs such as nursing, energy technology career academy, and more.

  • ACHS and middle school academic teams in state and national contests.

  • ACHS basketball and other athletic teams in district and state playoffs.

  • Kids (or anyone) who put forth effort to be the best will always get my vote.

  • Added December 7, 2009, by Charles Miller
  • Lindsey Wilson Vocal groups, led by Dr. Chafin, and the new Lindsey Wilson Concert Band, led by Tim Allen
  • Readers are invited to add new items to the list
