McPherson is MSC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Honor is second of McPherson's career. Senior Guard is hot - shot sizzling 70% from behind arc for the past week.

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College senior guard Eric McPherson is the Mid-South Conference Mens Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced today.

McPherson led the Blue Raiders to a 2-0 week with a pair of wins in the MSC Challenge in Frankfort, KY.



The honor is the first of the season for McPherson and second of his career.

The Cleveland, Ohio native poured in 24.5 points per game and hauled in 6.5 rebounds per contest last week.

McPherson tallied a season-high 33 points in Lindsey Wilsons 98-74 win against Indiana-University-Northwest on Friday, followed by a 16 point, 10 rebound performance in the 72-65 win over Talladega College on Saturday.

McPherson shot 70 percent (7-of-10) from behind the arc for the week, including a career-high six threes against IU-Northwest. The senior shot 51.9 percent (14-of-27) from the field.

Lindsey Wilson (6-2) returns to action at 2pmCT on December 5, 2009, at Davenport (MI) University.
