Mr. Richard Phelps to portray Judge James Garnett

The Adair County Genealogical Society and the Adair County Public Library would like to invite you to "An Evening with Judge James Garnett" to be held December 7, 2009 at 6:00pmCT, at the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.

Mr. Richard Phelps, well known for his protrayal of Daniel Trabue, Elder Z.T. Williams, and William Caldwell, will be immersing himself in character once again as one of Adair County's best known public servants, Judge James Garnett.



Judge Garnett began early at the age of 18 as deputy county court clerk and became a state representative, circuit judge, state senator and an early founder of the Masonic Widows and Orphans Home in Louisville, KY, just to name a few.

This is awonderful opportunity to learn more about Judge Garnett and to see one of Adair County's best character actors in action.
