Taylor County Holiday Helpline is open for those in need<

The Holiday Helpline is Taylor County's cooperative effort at good stewardship and benevolence at Christmas. Charitable groups or individuals have relied for years on this Interagency project. They simply call the number and ask to be matched with a person or people who have needs. Folks who would not have any "Christmas" if it weren't for the charity of others, are asked to call (270) 849-2363 between November 30 and December 4, 2009. The telephone will be managed by volunteers afternoons from 1pm to 4:3pmET. Callers will need to know names, ages of children, addresses, etc. The number to call to adopt a family or for a church to check on a family is (270) 469-1369. Carolyn Morris, Taylor County Extension Secretary, 1143 South Columbia Avenue,Campbellsville, KY
