Was Bub Polston Hawk swooping to get little 8 lb. dog? Red tailed hawk or chicken hawk or whatever, raptor swooped in to get closer look at petHr>About: Redtailed hawks not good at swooping, Wendy Burt says Ed: Don't know what type Hawk is in Bub's picture, but it likely the same one that has been swooping in to take a closer look at my little 8 lb dog.Bub Polston is my neighbor and this Hawk has been in our neighborhood for a couple of weeks now. It swooped in at her (my little 8 lb. dog) one morning and I thought for a second it was going to pick her up before I could even react. Does anyone know if it is capable of picking up a little dog? s/Pat Blair KY 206, near Bub Polston's place This story was posted on 2009-11-25 01:20:56
