County Court Clerk says office will be open Saturdays for voting

Adair County Court Clerk Sheila Blair said that she is planning to have the County Court Clerk's office open for absentee voting by machine on from 8am-12pm, Saturday, December 5, and Saturday 12, 2009, for voting in the Special Election to answer the only question in the special election:
"Are you for or against the Adair County School District levying, as authorized by KRS 160, a building fund assessment of 5.6 cents per hundred dollars of assessed property value to meet facility needs for our children."

A date for the machines to be ready for machine voting on has not been set, but Clerk Blair said she hoped that the machine will be ready by Tuesday, December 1, 2009.
