Keep the Adair County Marching Band in your prayers By Sue Stivers Monday morning about 4:30pmCT the Adair County Band (the world's greatest, so we think) with their leaders and supporters left Columbia, KY for the great city of New York to let the world know that we are here, just watch us. Let us start and continue a prayer vigil for the band, their leaders and many supporters, the bus drivers. I understand there are seven busses which left at that time and another one later in the morning. Let us pray for GOD'S watch, care and protection for a safe journey to N.Y. and while they are there and a safe journey back home. The Adair County Band is scheduled to perform around 9:30am Central Time/10:30am Eastern Time. Turn on your TV's and watch them....We in Adair County are so proud of them....they are the only small band in history to be invited to participate in the Macy's Day Parade. No wonder we are bragging!!! Send this prayer request to others and keep the prayers going. This story was posted on 2009-11-23 08:25:22
