Midnight injury accident near Loretto, KY

Pickup leaves roadway, strikes bridge, and overturns

MARION CO., KY - Collision occurred at 12:28amET, Saturday, November 21, 2009, three miles North of Lebanon, KY on KY 49.Richard Diffee, age 27, of Loretto, KY, not belted, was operating a 1993 Chevrolet Van northbound on KY 49 when he left the roadway, struck a bridge, and overturned.



He was transported to Springview Hospital, Lebanon, KY, by Marion County EMS where he was treated and released. He was charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, disorderly conduct and was lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.

Trooper John Adams of Kentucky State Police 15, Columbia, KY, is investigating. Trooper Fred Cornett, Marion County Sheriffs Department, and Marion County Rescue assisted at the scene.
