Obituary: Eloise White Wise, Taylor Co., KY

Eloise White Wise, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, died November 20, 2009, in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 11amET, Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church, 3548 Taylor BLVD, Louisville, KY, by George Sanders. Visitation is 4pm-8pmET, Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Boulevard, Louisville, KY. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylor Co., KY.


Eloise White Wise (1918-2009)

Eloise White Wise of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Omer White and Reno Fisher White, was born June 24, 1918, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:24 A.M., Friday, November 20, 2009 in Louisville, KY, at the age of 91 years, 4 months, and 27 days.

She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville.

She united in marriage to Andrew Gordon Wise November 30, 1940. He preceded her in death October 10, 1995.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Beverlee Kirk and husband, Wayne of Louisville, KY, and Betty Harris and husband, Kelley of Beaver Dam

  • Two grandchildren: Jo Anna Illingworth and husband, Ryan of Spring Hill, TN, and Kelley Andrew Harris and wife, Kellie Jane of Lexington, KY

  • Two great-grandchildren: Addison Harris of Lexington, KY, and Robert Harrison, Illingworth of Spring Hill, TN

  • One sister: Marjorie Aileen Greer of West Palm Springs, FL

  • And seven nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Merlin White.
