Artists open house at Highland Raku Studios Dec. 5-6, 2009

Seven artists' works on dispaly December 5-6, 2009

Highland Raku Studio will hold Artists' Open House on Saturday, December 5, from 10am-4pmCT, and on Sunday, December 6, 2009, from 1pm-4pmCT at 7917 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY. The phone number is (270) 378-5421.

Refreshments will be served.

Ted Vogelsburg, Sparksville blacksmith artist, will have a display.

Steve Scherer will have a miniature glass sculpture demonstration, Saturday.

Donnie Perry will display examples of his wheel thrown pottery and give a demonstration on Saturday.



On Saturday, December 5, from 12-4 and on Sunday, December 6, from 1-4pm, David Waltz, sculptor; Jama Watts, jewelry make; and Katina Johnson, water color artists, will have displays at Heart's Image Studio and Gallery at 980 G Taylor RD, near Gradyville, KY

ACHS Marching Band on TV in Macy's parade 09

The Adair County Marching Band looked great as they performed their hearts out in Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade at around 9:30 this morning. This is an example of how they looked on NBC television to the few people left in Columbia while band members, supporters, families and friends holiday in New York City.
