Obituary: Delena Jessie Mann, 67, Adair Co., KY

She was a member of a respected Adair County family. She had retired from Fruit of the Loom after a career of 33 years

Delena Jessie Mann, 67, Columbia, KY, died Sunday, November 15, 2009, at 10:19pmCT, at the University of Louisville Medical Center in Louisvllle, KY.The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. C.G. Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation wil be after 4pmCT, Tuesday, November 18, 2009, at the funeral home.



Delena Jessie Mann, Adair Co., KY (1942-2009)

Delena Jessie Mann was born January 13, 1942, the daughter of the late William Kay and Cleo Jessie and died November 15 2009, in Louisville, KY, at the age of 67 years, 10 months, and 2 days.

She was retired from Fruit of the Loom after 33 years.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a borther, Jimmy G. Jessie, and a granddaughter, Jessie Mann.She is survivors include the following:
  • One son and daughter-in-law: Greg and DeAnna Mann of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Andy and his wife Tiffany Mann of Louisville, KY; Tyler and his wife Kelli Marie Mann, and Zachary Mann, all of Columbia, KY

  • A very special friend, Sandy Rogers of Columbia, KY.

  • And several other relatives and friends and many who she was known to as "Granny."
