Injury accident at Blue Ridge RD-KY 61, near Breeding, KY

Breeding Fire Department, Adair EMS assist KSP at the scene

ADAIR COUNTY, KY - Tpr. Tracy Haynes is investigating a collision that occurred Sunday evening, November 15, 2009, at 6:20pmCT, eight miles South of Columbia on KY 61.

Anthony B. Roach, age 38, of Louisville, KY was operating a 1981 Peterbilt. Roach had just pulled on N KY 61 from Blue Ridge Road, the left rear wheel of the trailer was slightly over the centerline in the Southbound lane.

Margaret S. Williams, age 70, of Albany, KY, was traveling South on KY 61 in a 2001 Oldsmobile, she struck the trailer wheel. Roach was wearing a seatbelt and not injured. Williams was also wearing a seatbelt, she was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital.

Tpr. Haynes was assisted at the scene by Adair County EMS and the Breeding Fire Department.
