Obituary: Ansel Newton, 78, Taylor Co., KY He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Newton had been employed as a machine operator at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company Ansel Newton, 78, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, died November 12, 2009, in Louisville, KY. Funeral services will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Monday, November 16, 2009, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jim Hook.Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Saturday, November 14, 2009, and after 8amET/7amCT, Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Eugene Hiestand, Dennis Newton, dDonnie Price, Joe Slayton, Joseph Slayton, and Mike Thomas. Ansel Newton, Taylor Co., KY (1931-2009) Ansel Newton of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late John Henry Newton and Bessie Irene Colvin Newton, was born April 22, 1931, in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 5:20 P.M., Thursday, November 12, 2009 in Louisville, KY, at the age of 78 years, 6 months, and 21 days. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He had been employed as a machine operator at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. He united in marriage to Lucille Cox Herron, January 31, 1986.Besides his wife, Lucille Newton of Louisville, KY, he is survived by the following:
