Ann signs Diabetes Awareness Day proclamation

November is recognized as American Diabetes Month here in the United States. November 14th is World Diabetes Day across the globe. County Judge Executive, Ann Melton has signed a Proclamation declaring November 14th as Diabetes Awareness Day in Adair County. If you have diabetes, take steps today to improve your control - it is not always easy, but it is worth it!

If you dont have diabetes, talk to your health care provider to see if you are at risk. For additional information about diabetes contact your local health department and speak to the diabetes educator.The Adair County Health Department is located at 801 Westlake DR, Columbia, KY.
