A Nameserver, which converts the address http://www.columbiamagazine.com to the numbers for the site 66.221.85.197 was out yesterday most of the daylight hours. We appreciate the help of those who accessed the site by substituting 66.221.85 in the URL and who passed the word along to other readers through phone calls, e-mails and social networking, especially on Facebook. Many have told us they are recording the number to use, just in case the situation ever occurs again. It was, however, the first time in 14 years it had affected ColumbiaMagazine.com.
