NAIA No. 1 LWC Women's Soccer runs winning streak to 8

Nation's top NAIA team tops Georgetown College 3-0 on goals by Saeda Sueki, Yolanda Hamilton, and Katy Gilmour

GEORGETOWN, KY - Three different Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer players scored to lift the Blue Raiders to a 3-0 win Tuesday night, October 20, over host Georgetown (KY) College.

The No. 1-ranked Blue Raiders ran their winning streak to eight straight with the win, improving to 12-2-1 on the season. Lindsey Wilson remained atop the Mid-South Conference running their conference record to 5-0 on the season.



Lindsey Wilson freshman Saeda Sueki scored the game's first goal off sophomore Ida Gregersen's assist to give the Blue Raiders the 1-0 lead. Senior Yolanda Hamilton increased Lindsey Wilson's lead to 2-0 with an unassisted goal.

Junior Katy Gilmour closed the night's scoring with a goal off sophomore Elisha Fry's assist to give the Blue Raiders the 3-0 win.

Georgetown falls to 7-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Lindsey Wilson College Women's Soccer hosts St. Catharine (KY) College at 5pmCT on Monday, October 26, 2009, at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 Blue Raider DR, Columbia, KY in the team's regular season home finale.
