CJE Ann Melton, Adair Fiscal Court, announce free tipping

CJE Ann Melton and the Adair Fiscal Court announce free tipping at the transfer station on L. Willis Road on Friday and Saturday, October 16 and 17, 2009.

The hours are:
  • 7amCT-4pmCT: Friday, October 16, 2009
  • 7amCT-1pmCT: Saturday, October 17, 2009
Appliances and metals will be accepted during the free tipping at the transfer station.



Due to reduced funding from PRIDE, we will only have free tipping aat the transfer station.

There will be no dumpsters for the fall tipping this year.

There will be someone monitoring who is unloading and what items that are being dumped, and there will be people present to help unload.

Free tipping is only for residents of Adair County, KY.

County officials have set the following rules on tipping at the transfer station:These items are prohibited: Tires, brush, lumber, rocks, dirt, burning barrels, ashes, roofing, cement blocks. And cats of paint must have cat litter or sand to dry wet paint.
